Returns
Return anything unworn within 28 days. Your statutory right to cancel is 14 days from delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and our policy sits on top of it.
Questions
What does the opacity rating mean?
A score from one to five, judged with a single layer of the fabric held 20cm from a north-facing window at midday. Five is opaque in direct light. Three means a light layer is sensible in bright sun. We do not sell ones.
I am between two sizes. Which should I take?
Take the larger size for anything with no stretch, especially if you layer underneath. Take the smaller for ribbed knits and jersey, which relax within a wear.
Where is the hem drop measured from?
From the shoulder seam on dresses and tops, and from the waistband on skirts, always on the size 10 sample. The note beside it says roughly where it lands on a 5'6" frame.
How should I wash things?
Each product page lists care for that fabric. As a rule: cold wash, wash inside out, line dry in shade, and iron on the reverse. Waxed cotton is sponge-clean only and re-waxed annually.
Will a sold-out piece come back?
Often, but not always — runs are capped at forty pieces a colourway. Leave your email on the product page and we will write the day it lands.
Are duties included on EU orders?
Yes. EU orders ship duties prepaid under IOSS, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.
