A label that publishes its numbers
Shekinah Wear makes modest womenswear in UK sizes 6–24, and states in centimetres what every other label leaves to a photograph.
What we make
Dresses, skirts, tops, sets, outerwear and the layering pieces that make the rest of a wardrobe work. Small batches of no more than forty pieces a colourway, cut between a workroom outside Leicester and a second in Porto.
The coverage spec
Nine fields on every product page: neckline, sleeve and sleeve length in centimetres, hem drop in centimetres, opacity rated one to five, lining, stretch, closure and how the piece layers. Nothing publishes until all nine are filled in.
How opacity is rated
Every fabric is scored against a north-facing window at midday rather than under studio lights, on a scale of one to five. A three needs a slip. A five does not. We would rather tell you before the parcel arrives.
Fit, sizing and returns
UK 6 to 24 across the range, with the model’s height and the size she wears printed beside every photograph. Thirty days to return anything, on top of your statutory rights.
Who it is for
Our customers dress modestly for reasons of their own — Christian, Muslim, Jewish and none — and we have no interest in adjudicating any of them. We make the clothes and publish the measurements.
